Baby Oil For Dry Skin

King of Thorn Vol. 1 (of 6)

Flashbook Editions we propose a six-volume seinen written and illustrated by Iwahara Yuji and published in Japan by Enterbrain, publisher of which we have been able to read a few other works of same target as Astral Project, Emma or Ultra heaven.

The engine of the events of King of Thorn is a mysterious disease called Medusa: This syndrome sclerosis mobile phone experience, as is explained in the first few pages, after six weeks of infection petrified cells leading to death.

Medusa has spread worldwide and has not yet found a therapy, which is why he decided to build a multimillion-dollar inside a ruined castle a center to hibernate one hundred and sixty patients, so that when a cure will be available can wake up and be exempted from the fate that took away her son.

When they wake up, however, are faced with a panorama from chills, made of tangled brambles and wild giant dinosaur-like creature ready to attack. Thus began a struggle for survival, made more bitter by the knowledge of being hunted down not only outside but also from the inside of your body that Medusa is attacking. Of those one hundred and sixty

undergo hibernation, the author focuses on a group of seven items well stocked although classic of the genre, in this first volume there are two figures on the other, a girl named Kasumi, which offers privileged point of view, narrator of the story, and Mark Owen, a gym and a tattooed guy Vin Diesel style, which takes the reins of the group.

The story, according to some Iwahara, follows in the footsteps of some Hollywood productions (eg Carpenter's The Thing or the saga of the zombies Romero) showed, however, have their own identity, and the volume involved, and twists between undiscounted and unresolved questions to get to the last page with the desire to read again: wait two months for the next volume will not be easy ... Graphically

King of Thorn shows a personal style characterized by operation of the hatch and contrasts between black and white closer to the West to the East, without betraying his homeland, the tables are well maintained and transmitted, thanks to a careful direction, the right atmosphere for such a story .

Excellent edition, as per standard Flashbook: satin jacket with good consistency, the initial color pages printed on glossy paper, porous paper for black and white and does not let, excellent yield of printing, binding solid volumes of soft but resistant to leaf. First issue

promoted without reservation, to try!
